Berlin announced the opening date of a new airport

In the capital of Germany, on October 31 this year, a new international airport Berlin-Brandenburg will be opened, as repotred by EuroPulse. However, most of the air harbor will be closed until lifting the quarantine measures. The new airport will be put into operation by the summer of 2021.

The new hub, whose construction has been started in 2006, will be equipped by two terminals. Its capacity would be able to serve more than 20 million passengers per year. Berlin Tegel Airport, receiving international flights in the capital, will be closed. These measures will be taken despite the fact that more than half of Berliners voted to continuing the airport operation three years ago. The last flight will operate from Tegel on November 8.
