Almost 60 Indian tourists got stuck at Dubai airport for non-compliance with entry regulations, as reported by the Khaleej Times.

"At least 57 Indian tourists got stuck at Dubai airport on Thursday night. They were denied entry for several reasons - in particular, some persons did not have a hotel booking and confirmation of 2,000 dirhams," the newspaper writes. As the newspaper noted, before boarding to the UAE, all passengers are required to check the necessary documents for entry, but these rules are not strictly followed. Therefore, tourists were facing a serious situation.

"Travelers spent the night at the airport without food and water. Currently, they are assisted by the Consulate of India. All tourists have negative tests for COVID-19", the newspaper writes. To enter the emirate, a passenger is required to comply with a number of formalities, including a negative coronavirus test before boarding and insurance for the entire trip. Upon arrival, foreigners are re-tested for COVID-19, until their results they have to keep a self-isolation.
