As global airlines seek to reduce their fleets under the unpredictable demand dynamics until 2023, focusing on the operation of narrow-body aircrafts, British MRO service provider AJW predicts an increase in aircraft decommissioning and, accordingly, the completion of spare parts for wide-body aircrafts Airbus A310, A330, A340 and Boeing 747, 767 and 777, Aviation Week writes.
“AJW has conducted an in-depth analysis of all offers on the global market to identify those parts and components that can be obtained at low prices, taking into account market expectations. The result of this work is the AJW Outlet Store - a discount store platform that offers access to resource details and components at the lowest possible price without intermediaries. According to the company's plans, the platform would start working in October. We will launch the project mainly with spare parts for Airbus and Boeing and several components for Embraer ", - said the AJW representative.
Initially, the AJW Outlet Store will have 1,500 spare parts, but the warehouse will be updated every month. The company has developed its own pricing algorithm for calculating prices and promises that many items will be discounted by up to 50%. The Outlet Store will be presented on a separate web portal, where customers can search the warehouse, create a personal account, and generally to get access to site functions similar to Amazon. As a first sales incentive, AJW will offer customers a 10% discount on their first order and free shipping.
