On October 20, air traffic controllers of Kazakhstan and worldwide celebrate their professional holiday - International Day of Air Traffic Controllers.

The twentieth day of October was not selected for a reason. On that day 1961, the International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers Association (IFATCA) was created in Amsterdam (Netherlands).
