A new SCAT airport in Shymkent would expand the flight route and provide three thousand workplaces

The new airline hub would allow the Shymkent to implement the latest industrial and innovative development policy. Unique South Kazakhstan airline hub based on the new Shymkent airport would become a highly efficient service center of passenger load and cargo with a high level of safety, comfort and quality, according to Kazinform MIA.
“The SCAT company annually develops and increases its own flight structure, opening new cities and countries for Kazakhstan citizens and, of course, we could not leave our local region without attention. Based on the new Shymkent airport, we will create our own South Kazakhstan international airline hub, connecting the region with the Baltic States, China, the Russian Federation, the Caucasus, Thailand and the European Union”, the airline stated.
A new quality of infrastructure development will allow effectively to meet the constantly growing business and the public needs in passenger and cargo transportation. Increased transport potential of Shymkent would lead to a rise in business activity and productivity of local business representatives, represented in all economic sectors. “Intensification of direct and transit traffic, as well as the cargo operations through the territory of our region, would be a powerful base for enhancing business development and investment attractiveness of Shymkent. In addition, the new facility will increase business activity and strengthen trade, economic and political connections between the region and the country.
The newest airport facility would enable the airport to increase the passenger and cargo traffic via Shymkent, providing additional monetary flows to the region”, the company's press service stated. The new hub would also provide air traffic with remote areas of the Turkestan region. Foreign carriers will enable Shymkent to increase the traffic with nearest cities and abroad, as well as to create the most favorable prices for their passengers. According to SCAT representatives, the new facility will provide more than 3,000 new workplaces at the airport, an engineering base and a training center, preparing its own top-class aviation specialists.
