Airfare of Kazakhstan airlines decreased by 19%

For the first seven months of 2020, Kazakhstan airlines carried 2.6 million passengers - 43.1% less than the previous year. According to data of the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan (CS MNE RK), in July, passenger traffic was reached to 304.9 thousand people, which is 36.6% less than in June and to 3.3 times lower than the previous year.

In January-July, a passenger turnover was reached to 4.3 billion passenger-kilometers, which is to 2.2 times less than the previous year. In July, the indicator was 467.8 million passenger-kilometers, which is 1.8% less than in June and to 4.2 times less than in July previous year.

Starting August 17, by the Authorities, Kazakhstan has gradually resumed international flights to four countries on six routes with a frequency of 23 flights per week: UAE (11 flights), Germany (5 flights), Belarus (4 flights), Ukraine (3 flights).
