An installation and assembly of aeronautical equipment has been completed at the Turkestan airport

RSE "Kazaeronavigatsia" has completed the installation and assembly of aeronautical equipment at the Turkestan airport. Thus, the construction and installation work of aeronautical equipment, in particular, a radar system ,an automatic radio direction finder, a DVOR-DME navigation radio beacon, an instrumental landing system and an automated meteorological information station have been completed.

Construction work within the airport is carried out in accordance with the project plans. Also, track-laying operations of the fourth layer of asphalt and concrete surface have been completed on the artificial runway. Finishing works are underway in the terminal facility. Air terminal facility consists of: a capacity - 450 passengers per hour and two telescopic ramps.

In addition to the aerodrome facilities, the project also provides for necessary infrastructure build-up: a fueling station, rescue station, service technical facilities, a patrol track along the perimeter fence and other vital support facilities of the airport.
