SAS Scandinavian Airlines and Air Astana resumed regular flights to Borispol airport this week.

From August 18, SAS now flies again from Oslo to Kiev, but until October the flights will be serviced with frequency only once a week - on Tuesdays. Initially, the air company flew to the Ukrainian capital three times a week.

Air Astana returned to Boryspil airport on August 19, having resumed only one of two regular routes to Ukraine - Almaty-Kiev. The flight Nur-Sultan (Astana) - Kiev is currently stopped.

From Almaty to Kiev Air Astana will fly three times a week - on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The schedule includes a medium-haul aircraft Airbus A320, but on the first flight after a break the carrier has delivered a more capacious new generation aircraft Airbus A321neo.

Currently, 14 international air companies have already resumed regular flights to Boryspil Airport. They include Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian Airlines, Air France, KLM, Air Astana, SAS, Ryanair, Belavia, LOT, flydubai, Czech Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Pegasus Airlines. Gradually, the international network from Boryspil is being renewed by Ukrainian airlines - UIA, SkyUp, Rosa Vetrov, Azur Air Ukraine.
