Starting from September 14, Sunday Airlines resumes flights to Egypt from the capital and Almaty, and from October - from the city of Shymkent. And for passengers who are planning to rest in Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada without leaving these resorts, there is no need for PCR-test, the press service of SCAT airline reported on Friday.

«The first departures will take place on September 14. The airline begins to carry out direct flights on directions Nur-Sultan - Sharm El Sheikh and Almaty - Sharm El Sheikh twice a week. The flights provide convenient connections to cities of Kazakhstan. Direct flights to Shymkent - Sharm El Sheikh and Kostanay - Sharm El Sheikh will be resumed from October», - the airlines reported.

It was noted here that travel agencies have already started selling tours, and their cost on average «has not undergone any changes and remained at the level of last year's offers».

According to SCAT, the Egyptian government has decided to allow the arrival at the resorts of Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada without the mandatory preliminary passage of PCR-tests for tourists arriving by direct charter and regular flights. At the same time, for tourists arriving by direct flights to Sharm El Sheikh or Hurghada and who wants to move around Egypt (to other cities and regions), it is mandatory to have a negative PCR-test for COVID-19, made no later than 72 hours before movement.

« For passengers traveling in transit through third countries or cities (including Cairo and Alexandria), it is also mandatory to have a negative PCR test for COVID-19, made no later than 72 hours before traveling,» the press office said.
