Ministry of Health of Ukraine has published a new list of countries in the red and green zone, which determines whether tourists should undergo quarantine.
For instance, according to the red list of August 22, Albania and Montenegro were open to Ukrainian tourists. It also includes Belgium, India, Albania, Armenia, Romania, Kazakhstan, Malta, Spain, the U.S., Israel and other countries where the number of patients over the past 2 weeks in terms of 100 thousand people more than in Ukraine.
Popular among tourists are still Turkey, Egypt, Bulgaria and Croatia in the green zone.
Quarantine is also not needed if a tourist comes from Russia, Belarus, Netherlands, France, Serbia, UAE, Sweden, Iran, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Canada, Norway, Slovenia, Italy, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Hungary, China and other countries.

Since August 14, the agency changed the criteria for the distribution of countries. Currently, only one parameter is used - the number of people who became ill for the last 14 days in terms of 100 thousand people.
If a passenger arrives from the countries of the green zone, he can move around Ukraine freely after entering the country.
If a tourist comes from a red-listed country, he must undergo a 14-day observation in a special center, self-isolation at home using the application « Дій вдома» or PCR-test for coronavirus in the laboratories of Ukraine. Checkup points are open at the airports Borispol, Zhulyany, Lviv, Odessa and Kharkiv.
Also a tourist can pass PCR-test abroad. However, the analysis is considered valid if taken no more than 48 hours before crossing the Ukrainian border.
