The concept's image of the world's fastest passenger aircraft was published on the Virgin Galactic's website. According to designers, the aircraft would exceed the speed of sound by three times, Tengritravel.kz reported with reference to Virgin Galactic.

Virgin Galactic has presented a jet design with streamlined delta wing, a capacity from nine to nineteen people. The company stated the aircraft will fly at an altitude of more than 18 kilometers, and its maximum speed will be Mach 3 (3,596 kilometers per hour), exceeding the speed of sound by three times. Rolls-Royce is working on the engine, which has previously developed a supersonic engine for the Concorde, developing a speed of up to 2,400 kilometers per hour. It is worth noting, the prototype of the new aircraft is apparently similar to the legendary French aircraft.

According to Virgin Galactic's plan, the new supersonic aircraft will cover long distances within the shortest possible time. Thus, a transatlantic flight from New York to London will be only two hours. The aircraft will be equipped with business and first class. It should be noted, the American company Virgin Galactic also intends to manage tourist suborbital space flights in the future.
