Dubai Airport is fully opened for international travelers

On July 7, Dubai International Airport (IATA code: DXB), the basis airport of Emirates has resumed international flights, the ATO portal reports. All arriving passengers are required to provide a PCR-certificate of the negative testing result for COVID-19, issued no earlier than 4 days before arrival.

It is also recommended to issue a travel insurance, covering the treatment of coronavirus for all the entire period of staying in the UAE. Otherwise, the test will have to be taken directly upon arrival and, in case of a positive result, staying on quarantine for 14 days, paying for accommodation in the isolation, and also be ready to pay for treatment if necessary. The airport additionally makes the temperature measurement for arriving passengers.

“Currently, Emirates operates flights from Dubai Airport to 40 destinations, and due to the measures introduced, we are able to expand the route network by offering passengers additional routes, of which we will announce shortly,” Ahmed bin Said Al- Maktum commented, Emirates Chairman. According to him, the airline is observing a steady traffic growth in all directions over recent weeks. “The next few weeks would be a great verification of the global aviation industry in many respects,” he admitted.
