In Kazakhstan, in order to promote leisure at domestic resorts, the KidsGoFree project was developed - an aviation subsidy aimed at transporting children during the holidays, according to Tengritravel.kz.

The program involves children aged 2 to 14 years inclusive (only as part of an acquired tourism product). One of the conditions is family vacation at a resort for at least five days (four nights). According to the program conditions, no more than two children might fly with one of the parents (as well as the legal representative of the child and / or the close relative of the parent by notarized power of attorney). Regarding large families, under the KidsGoFree program, five or more children of the same family from 2 to 14 years old are able to travel on single tour product.

During the first year, approximately 150 million tenge are planned to be allocated for child subsidy and more than five thousand children will be transported. The number of young passengers are expected to be increased up to 100 thousand a year, thereby facilitating holiday access by almost a third. This initiative has not yet been legislated, this proposal is currently under consideration in Parliament, so far the KidsGoFree program is scheduled for 2021.
