Сonstruction activities for meteorological radar installation were completed at the airport of Ust-Kamenogorsk

Under the RSE “Kazaeronavigatsia” program, construction activities for  meteorological radar installation of dual polarization (DMRL) were completed at the Ust-Kamenogorsk branch.

According to the Investment Enterprise Plan, a modern C-range Doppler meteorological radar has been installed, is enabling to improve a quality of transmitted meteorological information.

The substantive output item of meteorological radar observations is information concerning a location, internal structure, meteorological features (type of meteorological patterns, intensity of precipitation, upper bound cloudiness, Doppler velocity) cloud cover and precipitation, as well as observations of their displacement and evolution, allowing to make overtime weather forecasts.
