Airbus will establish a device detecting an existence of any virus in aircrafts

Airbus, French Aircraft Corporation has announced a revolutionary discovery.  It will be possible to accurately identify passengers infected with any viruses, including COVID-19.

New technology developed by Airbus and Koniku Inc. can detect an existence of any virus by smelling. The algorithm operates as follows: special sensors-catchers are installed in the cabin. Pre-programmed genetically modified smell receptors sensitively detect and analyze all flavors on board, cleaving them into separate chemical components. Finally, in the case of coincidence with the existing “samples” located in the “red zone” of the computer brain, the system gives a signal and indicates a specific location where the threat comes from. Thus, we have a technology allowing us unmistakably and instantly to identify an infected person and take measures to avoid further infection of others.

The developers suggest another useful functional features of the new product. In addition to COVID-19 virus, the technology allows to detect any biological threats in minimal concentrations, as well as prohibited chemical and explosives. Tests are also scheduled to be carried out in the fourth quarter of 2020. If they are found to be successful, the aviation market expects a real revolution: many security issues, which are a stumbling block for airports and carriers, will be resolved for a long time.
