The French bee low-cost airline flew the longest non-stop domestic flight from Tahiti (French island) to Paris, the aircraft broke more than 16 thousand kilometers and beat the previous record, Tengrinews.kz reports with reference to RIA Novosti.

“A world record was broken. The French bee is proud to announce that its Airbus A350-900 flew the longest non-stop domestic flight: 16,129 kilometers between Tahiti and Paris, (airport) Orly, in 16 hours and 49 minutes. There were 20 tons of medicine on board intended for the overseas community of France in the Pacific," the company said on Twitter. BFMTV channel notes that the aircraft initially flew on May 12 from France to French Polynesia, and on May 15, the aircraft departing from Tahiti Faaa International Airport was landed in Paris.

In October 2019, the Boeing 787-9 operated a direct flight from New York to Sydney in 19 hours and 16 minutes, but this flight between two different countries was testing experience.
