Passengers may have difficulties with hours-long of waiting to board after resuming the air service, according to The Sun.

As noted by experts, all passengers  will be registered online at the post-coronavirus period. Travelers will be allowed into the airport only with a “health passport” and a mandatory set of protective equipment - masks, gloves and a sanitizer. The document needs a note about an absence of the virus. Before boarding, the passenger needs to go through a disinfection tunnel and a thermal scanner that will determine a body temperature. Baggage will be disinfected.

Experts remind that in the near future, all customers of airlines worldwide will have to comply with the principle of social distance and wear gloves and face masks. In addition, air travel might be a luxury in the future. Such fears are explained by the increasing tariffs that carriers would have to do in order to recover costs due to the traffic collapse. According to preliminary estimates, all forecasts could be relevant in the next 5 years.

Meanwhile, on May 1, the Wizz Air airline plans to launch international flights in Europe. In this regard, the company has reported on the security measures implementation. All passengers will be required to wear face masks. On May 4, all airlines included in the Lufthansa Group holding will demand to wear masks. However, the new rules regarding masks will apply on all flights and will be valid until at least August 31.
