Aviation Authorities of Kazakhstan are working to create a digital regulation system in the industry, the Ato portal reports. The local regulator, JSC "Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan" (AAK) would have its own "digital twin" that would ensure greater efficiency and improve interaction with aviation companies.
In 2017, the state program "Digital Kazakhstan" was adopted in the republic. The principal purpose was to accelerate the development of the country's economy and improve the quality of life using digital technologies, as well as a reorientation to the electronic format.
The program includes several main areas, involving digitalization of economy industries. The transformation is also expected to affect civil aviation.
