Aeroflot will issue vouchers for canceled flights

Aeroflot Airlines confirms that it will issue vouchers to passengers instead of money for canceled flights, according to the Traveler portal. Passengers will get a voucher for the refund amount with a bonus as a discount. Vouchers will be issued before the end of this year, and their validity period will be three years.

It is expected, that a voucher will be able for not only those who have had forced refunds on canceled flights, but also those who voluntarily canceled the flight when flights were operated, but the passenger’s plans have been changed due to the epidemiological situation. It concerns domestic and international transport.

Recall, until the beginning of April, Aeroflot has given back the money to passengers, but then it has suspended this procedure. According to ATOR, the national carrier technically closed a possibility of issuing refunds for canceled tickets.
