The representatives of “Kazaeronavigatsia” RSE took part in the ICAO EUR PBNC TF/12 and EUROCONTROL NSG/39 meetings

From 1 to 3 April, the 12th ICAO EUR Performance Based Navigation Consolidation Task Force and the 39th EUROCONTROL Navigation Steering Group meetings were held at the ICAO EUR/NAT Office in Paris.

The representatives of more than 26 countries took part in the meeting, as well as specialists from international organizations such as ICAO, EUROCONTROL, AIRE, ATC Consult, ERAA, ENAIRE, INECO. The Republic of Kazakhstan was represented by specialists from “Kazaeronavigatsia” RSE and “Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan” JSC.

They presented a report on the current status of implementation of performance-based navigation (PBN) in the airspace of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the meeting, the specialists from the Republic of Kazakhstan emphasized that “Kazaeronavigatsia” RSE Enterprise is focused on the requests of airspace users and ensures the availability of backup procedures.

In addition, the delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan delivered a presentation on the specifics of implementing PBN in conditions of difficult terrain and obstacles. It was prepared in the context of the implementation of projects for the construction and commissioning of three new aerodromes in the territory of Republic of Kazakhstan, where approaches that ensure safe and efficient navigation in conditions of limited visibility and high density of obstacles are relevant.
