The world's first airport for RPA will be built in China

The Chinese company EHang, specializing in the design and manufacture of autonomous aircraft, has announced plans to build the world's first terminal for RPA (remotely piloted aircraft). This was reported on the company's website.
An airport for tourist RPA is planned to be built in the Chinese city of Hezhou, Guangxi Province. It is assumed that it will be put into operation in 2020.
The airport terminal will be three-story, with an area of 2500 square meters. The architecture of the building includes a registration room on the first floor, a waiting room on the second and a take-off and landing area on the third.
In addition to the construction of the airport, the company plans to supply 20 double unmanned aerial taxi EHang 216. They will be used for tourism purposes - for sightseeing from the air.
