The Chinese commercial airline industry is gradually recovering - by the end of March, transport traffic reached 42% before the pre-crisis level, if we take a reference point period until the coronavirus epidemic in December 2019.
According to the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), the average number of daily flights has reached 6552, exceeding February's figures by 20%. Most of these flights were to cities located in the Yangtze river basin (the region with the most developed industry), including Shanghai, the financial center of mainland China.
