AirAsia launches an unlimited travel card for $ 118

AirAsia implements an unlimited travel card on its flights. The annual air pass will cost $ 118,  according to the company's press service. Reportedly, members of the AirAsia BIG loyalty program will be able to use a new offer. An annual pass would allow travelers to make an unlimited number of flights from Malaysia to Australia, Japan, Korea, China and India.

Passengers might purchase the service on the carrier's official website or in a mobile application until March 6. AirAsia noted, this campaign is launched in the background of spreading coronavirus and numerous airborne restrictions, introduced by other carriers. “AirAsia has always been innovative. Today, we are going to recover a passenger confidence amid fears of flying and prove that air travel is still safety. The main thing is to be responsible and comply with WHO recommendations, ”said Benyamin Ismail, AirAsia CEO.

He also noted, owners of unlimited travel cards have the right to decide when it is better to travel, and choose different routes or return to the same destination. It should be noted, due of the coronavirus, a Chinese airline has presented a similar initiative. Spring Airlines low-coster has arranged a price collapse and began selling tickets at a price of $ 4 per flight.
