Qantas Airlines has begun developing a software for mobile devices. The application should assist passengers to handle the jetlag and facilitate an adoption in changing time zones, according to Lonely Planet. The program would offer advises about nutrition before and during the flight, using light sources and devices, emitting a blue light.

In addition, it will even be possible to draw up a personal timetable to be prepared the passenger for a long flight before departure, and would help to correctly plan a personal schedule after arrival. Reportedly, the data obtained as a result of carrier’s test flights would help in developing a new software.

It should be noted, Australian airline has recently completed its third research flight New York - Sydney as part of the non-stop flight between the continents. During the flight, special employees monitored a status of passengers and crew to determine how best to adapt in long-lasting flights. The final decision to launch new software would be taken in March 2020.
