Future ATC officers have completed their training at Riga Aeronautical Institute

In December, a group of 10 specialists successfully completed ab-initio training courses for air traffic controllers based on ICAO and EASA standards. 

During the year the course participants learned the basics of air traffic service in English and Russian. The training was conducted using various activities: lectures, training practices using computer simulators and flight practice.

Training on the simulator was the main method of the study, where graduates consolidated theoretical knowledge aimed at practicing the performance of production functions and tasks of air traffic controllers.    

As a result of the training, our graduates showed high scores and successfully passed the aviation English test on the ICAO scale.
