Emirates will present the civil aviation of the future at Expo 2020

Emirates will be a participant of the international exhibition EXPO-2020, which will be opened in Dubai on October 20 following year and will be finished on April 10, 2021. The carrier would present innovative novels and will show how the forthcoming civil aviation might look, according to the Emirates press service.
Reportedly, on an area of more than 3,000 square meters, the airline will build a three-story pavilion. Its design was developed taking into consideration the main topics of EXPO-2020 - mobility, new perspectives and sustainable development. The facility will be decorated with 26 inclined constructions, symbolizing the wings of an aircraft. The basic exposition will be situated on the ground floor, the audience for performances will take part on the second floor, and the garden where visitors can enjoy nature and green landscapes will be placed on the third floor. The Emirates Pavilion would talk about how the commercial aviation might look in the future. Using the basic aerodynamic principles, visitors will be explained how the aviation works.
In the laboratory of the future, it will be possible to see how innovative products are being researched which are able to reduce aircraft weight and increase a fuel economy. Such inputs might become the basis for aircrafts of the future. Emirates Pavilion visitors will be introduced to the biometric passenger control system, which not only uses iris recognition, but also provides a voice and head scan. Finally, visitors will be asked to create and configure their ideal aircraft of the future, using new technologies for a construction of the wing, fuselage, engine and other elements.
