National Geographic, the famous travel publication, launches an exclusive air travel. The global air tour on the most popular attractions was developed jointly with Icelandair Airlines, according to Simple Flying.
As it became known, tourists are expected to fly on a specially modified Boeing 757 aircraft. The liner is equipped with folding leather seats and is designed to transfer about 75 passengers. Travelers would get more personal space in the cabin (for example, the standard Boeing 757 is designed for 233 persons) and will be able to enjoy the experience of private air travel.
As expected, the cost of an exclusive National Geographic tour is not the cheapest. The price for double bookings is $ 89,945 per person, while the cost for single occupancy on board is even higher - $ 98,940. It should be noted, the Boeing 757 is often used for private transportations. In addition, on November 25, 2015, Icelandair Airlines had performed its first commercial flight to Antarctica on this aircraft - the aircraft landed on Union Glacier.
