S7 Airlines will open a business jet factory in 2023

S7, the Russian airline, is planning to complete the construction of a small aviation center by 2023, where the business jets creation will begin. Production will be located in Stupino, near Moscow, according to TASS.
One of the majorest Russian air carriers wants to start production of light aircrafts - Victory. Aircrafts will be made from carbon composite materials. One liner, the weight of which will not exceed 3 tons, will be designed to carry 1 pilot and 4-5 passengers. The maximum speed will be about 600 km / h, range - about 2000 km.
“S7 Airlines is implementing the first stage of Small Aviation Center creating in urban district Stupino. The center's completion is scheduled for early 2023”, the press service of the Ministry of Investment and Innovation of the Moscow Region reports. As it became known, the project cost is estimated at 13 billion rubles. The Small Aviation Center will not only produce the aircrafts. There will open enterprises for aircrafts maintenance, as well as a training center for pilots. It is expected, that Victory liners will be used by major companies for business transportation. How popular is the service would be on the Russian market is still unknown.
