Hamad International Airport, which opened in 2014, expects a massive reconstruction. By 2022, a new luxurious terminal will appear in Doha's largest airline harbor, according to Forbes.
Apparently, a huge tropical garden, landscaped shopping areas, premises for cafes and restaurants, as well as the Qatar Airways Al Mourjan business lounge, which will be located on the second floor of the facility, would appear on an area of 11,720 square meters. Besides, terminal visitors will be able to visit the wellness center, gym and business negotiations area.
The terminal’s construction with 21 access to aircrafts will start in 2020 and will end by 2022, right around the time, Qatar will host the World Cup.
