Beibut Atamkulov, the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development (MIID) has announced the introduction of an "open skies" mode at several republican airports at the Government meeting on the development of civil aviation.
In Uzbekistan, the fifth air freedom was entered from October 1, at the international airports of the Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya administrative regions (viloyats) - Karshi and Termeze, respectively, as well as in Nukus - the one airport of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. In addition, the application of the fifth air freedom is allowed when transporting foreign citizens in Bukhara, the administrative center of the Bukhara region.
