Air Astana has passed the seventh IOSA audit

The airline successfully has passed the seventh IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) audit of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), according to the Kapital.kz, business information center.

IOSA Operational Safety Audit is an internationally well-known and recognizable audit system, developed for evaluating the airlines control systems and production management. The IOSA program accepts all applicable ICAO safety requirements from the Annexes to the UN Convention on International Civil Aviation.

During an audit, documentation and implementation of a thousand IOSA standards were confirmed in all areas of the company. These include the corporate organization and management systems, flight operations, flight management and traffic control service, aircraft maintenance, on-Board service, aircraft ground-handling, cargo operations and aviation security. The next audit is scheduled for 2021.
