The capital's sky is planned to open for leading airlines

President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev believes, that time has come to open the skies above the capital for all global leading airlines, according to the Kapital.kz, business information center.
The Nur Sultan city positions itself as an international hub. Previously, Beibut Atamkulov, Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development, spoke of new airlines that will enter the Kazakhstan market. “In the near future, we are expecting the arrival of such airlines as Qatar Airways, Emirates, China Eastern, Ural Airlines and others. We will introduce the “open sky” mode at the airports of Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Pavlodar, Kokshetau, Taraz, Petropavlovsk, Semey. We plan to provide all foreign airlines with a fifth degree of freedom for flights to priority financial centers”, Beibut Atamkulov said at the government session.
