In January 2020, the new Starlux Airlines will begin operating its first flights. A license for the passenger carriage has already been obtained; currently, aircraft deliveries are expected, according to the carrier's official website.
Starlux Airlines fleet will be equipped with Airbus aircrafts: 12 modifications of the A350-1000, 5 aircrafts of the A350-900 and 10 aircrafts of the Airbus A321neo. Last week, the airline has presented the design of the crew uniform and aircraft cabin. The seats at the STARLUX A321neo were designed by BMW Designworks. Economy class chairs are different by natural colors, as well as ultra-thin backs. A personal multimedia system is built into each seat. Customers will also be provided with free Wi-Fi.
Reportedly, the unique perfume “House in the Air” was developed specifically for the carrier. Perfume composition, consisting of leather, wood, irises and violets, is intended to help passengers get more pleasant impressions. Brand fragrance will be used in cabins, waiting rooms and reception desks. The first flights will be performed from Taipei to East and Southeast Asia cities.
