Five Russian airlines have applied for flights Moscow - Nur Sultan

Russian air carriers S7, Utair, Red Wings and Nordwind Airlines have applied for flights permission from the Rossaviation on the route Moscow - Nur-Sultan. On the schedule, up to 7 flights may appear weekly, according to Interfax, referring to session materials of the interagency commission under the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.

To date, according to the intergovernmental agreement, only two airlines, Aeroflot and Air Astana, operate the Moscow-Nur-Sultan and Moscow-Almaty routes. As a result of multiple approvals, the states are making the conclusion to be accepted two air carriers: one from each state, on the Moscow-Nur-Sultan route. SCAT Airlines has already launched flights from Kazakhstan. The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation has not yet chosen a second carrier.

Currently, you can fly to Nur-Sultan from several Russian cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Mineralnye Vody, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, Omsk, Novosibirsk. Route network expansion has not yet been reported.
