Regional Aviation Training Symposium and TRAINAIR PLUS

From 9th till 11th of October 2017, in Astana, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) held a Regional Aviation Training Symposium and TRAINAIR PLUS

From 9th till 11th of October 2017, for the first time in Kazakhstan and Central Asian region, under the aegis of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and RSE "Kazaeronavigation", ICAO Aviation Training Symposium and TRAINAIR PLUS was held.

The Symposium was attended by Minister for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhenis Kassymbek, Mayor of Astana, Asset Issekeshev, General Director of RSE “Kazaeronavigation” Azat Bekturov, and Deputy Director of the Bureau of Technical Cooperation and Head of the Office of ICAO’s Global Aviation Training Meshesha Belayneh.

In his opening speech, the Minister said: "The symposium will be a unique platform for the exchange of best practices and experience in the development of human resources and training of aviation personnel, and will also be an opportunity for Kazakhstan to contribute to the further development of the aviation industry in the Eurasian continent".

More than 300 delegates from 90 countries of the far and near abroad attended the symposium, including representatives of civil aviation authorities, air navigation services providers, manufacturing enterprises, civil aviation training centers, airlines, ground handling and cargo operators, maintenance organizations and airport operators.

According to the organizers, within the framework of the Symposium, the issues of using effective training methods, studying innovations and implementing effective and rational solutions in the field of aviation training will be considered.
