France's second largest airline went bankrupt

Aigle Azur, the French airline, has reported on economic problems, that are not more permit to provide flights. Since the evening of September 6, all flights will be terminated. The appeal is posted on the airline’s official website. All passengers should check their tickets before September 6, whether their flights will be serviced. Customers who has purchased tickets for later dates, are encouraged to buy tickets from other airlines.
As appears from appeal, the financial situation of Aigle Azur does not allow to rely on prompt compensation, but a requests for a refund must be formalized. The air carrier has created an online support service where passengers of canceled flights will be able to resolve all legal issues.
It should be reminded, Aigle Azur was founded in 1946 and was based at Orly Airport. In the summer of 2019, the air carrier had passed under external financial control. Nowadays, negotiations are underway to sell Aigle Azur. Who will get one of the “oldest” airlines with a rich history and 10 thousand slots for take-off and landing at the Paris airport is still unknown.
