Workshop on legislative amendments about natural monopolies of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On August 29, 2019, the Department of Economics and Fees held a workshop on “Legislative amendments on natural monopolies of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.

During the workshop, they discussed amendments, provided for in the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Natural Monopolies”, concerning the activities of the RSE “Kazaeronavigatsia”, on issues, falling within the competence of the Department, and sub-legal normative legal acts.

Also they considered provisions of the law, previously not provided by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Natural Monopolies”, in force until 2019, as well as issues of legal provisions application.

The list of sub-legal normative legal acts, approved in the current year, is considered.

The provisions of Tariffs Rules and Rules for implementation of activities by natural monopoly entities, respectively approved by orders of the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, dated March 30, 2019 No. 171 and dated April 30, 2019 No. 256, were discussed.
