Chinese developers are creating an air taxi

EHang, Chinese company, is developing a new generation of vehicles. According to TechCrunch, the company plans to create a whole network of air taxis in Guangzhou.

It is planned, that flying cars will be completely autonomous, and flights will be controlled by a Single Control Center. Additionally, for optimal operation, it will be necessary to create a transport infrastructure. The Guangzhou Government supports the elaboration.

For cities with a high population density, a lot of cars and constant traffic on the roads, an air taxi network would have many advantages. By developers assumptions, the flying taxi service in densely populated Guangzhou, where more than 15 million people, will be especially most needed.
