Apple laptops will be prohibited in the US aircrafts

In the USA, some models of Apple laptops will be banned aboard the aircraft.

The Federal Aviation Administration has announced that it will prohibit some MacBook Pro laptops due to Apple statement.

Apple reported that, batteries in several devices are fire-hazardous. The agency has already notified major US airlines and reminded them that devices with defective batteries, recalled by manufacturers, should not be transported. Considered products are the 15-inch MacBook Pros, sold between September 2015 and February 2017.

In June, Apple has announced that some older laptop models could overheat and be dangerous. Four airlines have already banned these computers for transportation on aircrafts.
