ICAO course “Post-training evaluation” held at the Training Center

The Training Center continues working on ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS international program.

Attaching a great importance to the training quality of aviation experts, ICAO actively supports its members due to the implementation of high training standards through a global international program. Therefore, in order to improve a quality of TRAINAIR PLUS training courses, a methodology for post-training evaluation has been developed.

For information concerning a methodology, from 05 to 09 August 2019, an ICAO course “Post-training evaluation” was organized and conducted at the Training Center, in Almaty. In addition to Training Center specialists, there were experts from Kenya and Uganda aviation training centers.

A methodology for post-training evaluation is one of the components of a qualification training system. The introduction of post-training evaluation course gives an understanding the interaction of the learning process and its results to aviation training centers, as well as allows to evaluate an effectiveness of the course and learning impact on labor productivity. This methodology is aimed at improving educational processes, training courses and increasing their effectiveness.

All course participants were awarded by ICAO certificates, and now work is to be done on the development and implementation procedures for post-training evaluation at the Training Center.
