Direct flight to Tel Aviv may appear in Kazakhstan

Israeli ambassador proposes to open Tel Aviv-Nur Sultan flight, according to the press service of the CAC MIID RK.
On June 25, Talgat Lastayev, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee met with Ms. Liat Vekselman , Israeli Ambassador in Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, they were discussing issues of establishing direct air traffic between Kazakhstan and Israel.
Thus, under existing agreements between the aviation authorities of the two states, designated airlines of both countries have the right to operate 7 regular passenger flights and 2 regular cargo flights between Kazakhstan and Israel.
In order to further promote interaction and increase the tourist flow between Kazakhstan and Israel, Liat Vekselman proposed a creation of direct flights between the countries by providing a fifth freedom air degree at Nur Sultan or Almaty airports by Hainan Airlines, the Chinese airline, which carrying out direct passenger flights between Tel Aviv and Shanghai.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue work on establishing direct air traffic between the states.
The opening of direct air traffic will help to strengthen relationship between the two friendly states, as well as the successful development of tourism between the two countries.
