Qazaq Air has passed IATA certification

According to the portal ATO.ru, Qazaq Air, Kazakhstan regional airline, has joined the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
"We are confident that the inclusion among IATA members is international recognition and opens up new opportunities for international partnership to the airline," said Plamen Atanasov, chairman of the Qazaq Air board. According to him, membership in IATA will allow the company to strengthen its position as a leading regional carrier.
Previously, the airline’s representatives said, due to new aircrafts, as well as the IOSA certificate (IATA Operational Safety Audit), which was received last year, Qazaq Air also plans to increase the international route network - in the summer season, the carrier has begun flying from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan, and also from Atyrau to Astrakhan. In addition to Qazaq Air, Kazakhstan in IATA, is represented by such companies as - Air Astana, the national airline, and SCAT, the country's largest private carrier.
