In Beijing, the Chinese city, have completed works on the construction of Daxing, the world's largest airport. The opening would be held on the eve of the anniversary celebration from PRC founding, on October 1, 1949 by Mao Zedong, according to RIA News.

Daxing Airport is located 46 km south of Tiananmen Square. The air harbor press service declares, air terminal will reach its full capacity by 2025. Four runways can take up to 620 thousand flights and 72 million passengers a year. It is expected, by 2024, airport’sizes will increase by 8 runways, including for military purposes. The terminal will be able to take more than 100 million people. The new airport and adjacent territory are equal in area to 100 football fields (more than 700 thousand square meters).
