Qazaq Air has increased a passenger traffic by 16%

During the first half of 2019, Qazaq Air, the state regional airline of Kazakhstan, has transported about 170 thousand people, which is 16% more than a last year. In just one year, the carrier intends to serve more than 420 thousand passengers, while last year their number was 370 thousand, according to portal aeroo.ru

Qazaq Air has begun operational activity in August 2015. During the existence of the operator, 920 thousand people used its services.

The airline also announced plans to relocate the fleet from Almaty Airport to the capital Nur-Sultan. “This will allow flights on 24 direct and 55 connecting routes,” noted Plamen Atanasov. The carrier plans to introduce new routes on domestic flights.

Currently, all five Dash 8-400 aircrafts, operated by Qazaq Air, are based at Almaty International Airport. The route airline network includes 13 flights on the domestic airline, as well as three on the international airline.
