Another Russian airline will fly to the capital of Kazakhstan

Russian and Kazakhstan aviation authorities have agreed of increasing the number of flights for designated carriers, flying between Moscow and Nur-Sultan, according to a letter Alexander Yurchik, the Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, posted on the Rosaviation website.

From the letter follows, the frequency of flights on the Moscow-Nur-Sultan route will be increased from 12 to 21 flights a week. Besides, two additional frequencies will be transferred to the designated carrier, and seven - to new appointed carrier, not affiliated with the first one.

The press service of the Ministry of Transport said, the second designated carrier has not yet been determined. Airlines will have to submit applications to the admission commission. It’s known, S7 Airlines, UTair and Red Wings have already shown interest in the direction.
