Nur-Sultan airport will receive a new code

Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport will receive a new three-letter code from International Air Transport Association (IATA), according to the information of the Civil Aviation Committee of the MIID RK.

"Today, a session was held with Kazakhstan representatives and foreign airlines-members of the IATA International Air Transport Association: Air Astana, SCAT, Belavia, LOT Polish Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Air China, Uzbek Airlines and Fly Dubai, performing regular flights in Nur-Sultan ", -  reported press service of the Civil Aviation Committee.

Following the meeting, the decision to change the three-letter code of Nur-Sultan airport was unanimously supported by the airlines. The record(report) of this decision will be sent to  headquarters of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
