The specialists of “Kazaeronavigatsia” RSE met with the representatives of EUROCONTROL

At the invitation of CANSO, the specialists from “Kazernavigatsia” RSE, headed by Mr. Askhat Kissekbayev, the Director of the Air Traffic Management Department, took part in a meeting with the representatives of EUROCONTROL and CANSO. The working meeting took place in Brussels, Belgium. It was also attended by authorized persons from the State Unitary Enterprise “Uzaeronavigatsia”, the State Unitary Enterprise “Tajikaeronavigatsia” and DHMI (Turkey). CANSO is the global voice of air traffic control and represents the interests of air navigation service providers.

The representatives of EUROCONTROL, headed by Mrs. Marilyn Bastin, the Acting Director for the “European Green Sky” program, discussed with the meeting participants the issues of cooperation and data exchange between EUROCONTROL and air navigation organizations in Central Asia.

As part of the working meeting, the staff members of “Kazaeronavigatsia” visited Air Traffic Flow Management Center in the cities of Brussels and Paris. By the way, the latter is innovative. It serves as a platform for the introduction of new technologies and solutions in the field of air traffic control. The center researches and develops innovations to improve the safety, efficiency and environmental sustainability of air transport.

The strengthening cooperation and sharing best practices with EUROCONTROL were important results of the visit. We confirmed our readiness to work in this direction, and EUROCONTROL expressed its readiness to cooperate, shared the specialists of “Kazaeronavigatsia” RSE.
