On July 15, representatives of «Kazaeronavigatsia» RSE, led by the director of the Air Traffic Management Department, Askhat Kessikbaev, visited the Air Navigation Service and Air Navigation Institute of Czech Republic.

The delegation from Kazakhstan was met by the executive director of the Czech Air Navigation Service, Radovan Okenka, and the director of the Czech Air Navigation Institute, Vaclav Marvan.

Kazaeronavigatsia specialists were introduced to the work of the Prague ATC Center and the Air Traffic Flow Management Center (ATFM). Colleagues from the Czech Republic shared their experience in implementing a planning system, military-civil interaction, a personnel selection system and training planners. The experience of specialists from the Air Navigation Service of the Czech Republic is of particular interest in connection with the planned implementation of ATFM in Kazakhstan.

In the afternoon, representatives of «Kazaeronavigatsia» RSE visited the Czech Air Navigation Institute. Due to the need for initial training of air traffic planners in the ATFM course, instructors from the foreign center developed an adapted ATFM initial training program for «Kazaeronavigatsia» RSE.

The parties discussed the curriculum and made adjustments to increase practical training, as well as organizational issues. Kazaeronavigatsia specialists shared with representatives of the Czech Air Navigation Service information about changes in the system of professional training of aviation personnel, in particular the introduction of a system for assessing the quality of initial training.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to further develop bilateral cooperation in the field of training aviation personnel and exchange of experience aimed at improving the quality and safety of flights in the aviation industry.
