The new Beijing airport received the first passenger aircrafts

The new Beijing international airport Dasin (IATA Code: DKX) received the first four passenger aircrafts at the test mode. Aircrafts belong to various aviation alliances, landed in the morning on May 13, according to Xinhua Agency news.
In August, this year, the airport will enter the stage of flight tests in low visibility conditions. It should be noted that the first reception of test aircraft by the airport occurred at the end of January 2019. The commencement of commercial operation of the airport is scheduled for September 30. The airport is being created to unload the existing Shoudu airport, the annual capacity of which reached 100 million people.
It is assumed, the passenger traffic of all airport terminals by 2025 can reach 72 million people/year with a maximum capacity of up to 100 million passengers. In addition, by 2025, the new Beijing airport should handle up to 2 million tons of cargo per year.
