Tourist trips to Azerbaijan, Belarus and Kazakhstan are leading in the rating of travel of Russian tourists to the CIS countries and neighboring countries on the May holidays of 2019, according to TourStat. The analytical agency has compiled a list of the most sought-after cities in the CIS for travelers. The rating of cities is based on the analysis of the popularity of May tours.

The leader of the wish- list is Baku - the capital of Azerbaijan. The capital of Belarus is in the second place - Minsk, in the third - Nur-Sultan (Astana) in Kazakhstan. Then Yerevan in Armenia, Almaty in Kazakhstan, Tashkent in Uzbekistan, Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan, Kishinev in Moldova, Dushanbe in Tajikistan, and Ashkhabad in Turkmenistan.
